The TCM Shanghai Health & Risk Assessment covers three steps in which our practitioners carefully assess the patient’s health condition. By doing so, our state-of- the-art equipment allows us to collect, store and analyse a wide range of medical data, which are used to document and monitor illnesses as well as the treatment and healing process. These data also help us to map out the patient’s health risk factors as a basis for our tailored healthcare prevention programmes.
The three steps are:
As part of the general health check, our nurses take the patient’s vital signs(height, weight, blood pressure) and create a medical history file. In addition, they collect basic information about the patient’s lifestyle, as well as her/his overall physical, emotional and spiritual condition.
The Four Diagnostic Methods are main elements of TCM and cover the four examination points 1. Observation, 2. Hearing and Smelling, 3. Interrogation, and4. Pulse taking. During the examination, our TCM specialists use cutting edge medical recording devices to store, document and monitor the patient’s health status as a reference for both our medical teams in Dubai and China to create customized TCM therapy packages.
As the first TCM provider in the GCC region, TCM Shanghai uses the so-called Eagle Eye, a non-invasive medical measuring tool that has been invented in Brussels, Belgium, to perform the Electro Interstitial Scan (EIS).The EIS not only allows TCM practitioners to measure the patient’s various physical parameters, but also to visualise them by creating a 3D model of the human body. The model offers a unique way of assessing health risk factors and monitoring pains, disorders and illnesses, while providing a reliable reference for our TCM experts to create therapy packages and design preventive healthcare programmes tailored to the patient’s needs.
